Join Thomas Crow, Rosalie Solow Professor of Modern Art at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, for Art in Los Angeles: Beyond the Stereotypes, a lecture that will provide participants with a greater understanding of postwar L.A. and the art created there.
Crow has held teaching positions at California Institute of the Arts, Princeton University, University of Michigan, and Yale University. Born in Chicago, he received a B.A. from Pomona College, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from University of California, Los Angeles. His recent publication, The Long March of Pop, focuses on the legacy of Pop and Modern Art. Crow is also a contributing editor for Artforum.
