Celebrate with us our 114th birthday by taking advantage of FREE Museum admission all day! With activities inspired by our current exhibition Vistas del Sur: Traveler Artists’ Landscapes of Latin American from the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection, there will be something for the whole family. Drop-in art activities, including nature-rubbings, landscape collages, and gallery sketching, are available throughout the event, but stick around all day to not miss a thing! Guests can also practice their salsa moves with Rey Bermudez of Hartford-based Dance with Rey, complete a Museum-wide “passport” scavenger hunt for a prize, and join a guided tour of Vistas del Sur. Detailed schedule below:

Noon-5 p.m.: Drop-in art activities
Noon-1 p.m.: Complete your passport and bring it to Studio A for a prize
1-2 p.m.: Family salsa workshop, led by Dance with Rey
2-3 p.m.: Guided tour of Vistas del Sur
