Scene from Destino

Released in 2003 by Walt Disney Pictures, Destino is hauntingly beautiful animated short that was made in collaboration with renowned surrealist Salvador Dalí. Production for this love story began in 1945 and unfortunately ceased shortly after due to the financial woes of World War II. Finally completed 58 years later, it features music written by Mexican songwriter Armando Dominguez and performed by Dora Luz. The short is only six minutes, however this showing will also include an exclusive documentary about the short’s production and the personal relationship between Disney and Dalí.
