Youth Drawing 101
Wednesday, January 27, 2016
Students participating in one of our many educational programs.
Students will hone their drawing skills and learn about the history and practice of art through gallery chats and exhibition-inspired projects. January’s class will help students develop skills needed for realistic and representational drawing of the human form. Pulling inspiration from Stone Roberts: Street Scenes, Still Lifes, and Figures, students will be introduced to skills and techniques to conquer the unique challenges of depicting the human anatomy, from creating hands, feet, and hair, to body shapes and gesture.
Pre-registration is required for each monthly session and class size is limited. New sessions begin on the first Wednesday of each month. We do offer scholarships for New Britain students, so please feel free to ask if you qualify. For any questions or concerns, please contact Celina Marquis, Studio Art Educator: firstname.lastname@example.org or (860) 229-0257, ext. 227.
