Cover of Hearts of the World: A Love Story of the Great War

Created in 1918 by D.W. Griffith, this silent film stars Lillian and Dorothy Gish, and was created as war propaganda, per the request of the British government, to sway the neutral mindset of America. The movie tells the tale of a developing romance between "The Boy" and "The Girl," and its disruptance when war comes to their French village.

At almost two hours long, there will be a brief intermission at the films's halfway point. Popcorn will be available free of charge. Don't miss this rare opportunity to watch this early film on the big screen.
