Ages 5–14

Homeschoolers are invited to the Museum to explore our nation's history through the featured exhibition Henry Everett Townsend: Illustrations of a World War I Artist. They will learn about day-to-day life for WWI soldiers overseas, and how their loved ones helped support war efforts back home. Through discussions and collage activities in the studio, Museum educators will help kids understand the importance of Townsend's commissioned illustrations and the history they capture.
