Monday, March 21, 2016
Peter Blume, Boulders of Avila, 1976, 49 1/8 x 73 in., Oil on linen canvas
Enter the fantastic world of surrealism as we delve into the Museum’s special exhibit, Cycle of Life in Print: Salvador Dalí. We’ll interpret the strange and vivid forms that his dreams take on the canvas, and see how his unique style continues to influence artists—including our current NEW/NOW artist Clinton Deckert. In the studio we’ll fire up our imaginations and experiment with ways to transform everyday objects into the stuff of dreams.
