The New Britain Museum of American Art and Hartford Jazz Society are thrilled to present the Walnut Hill Jazz Series, featuring four Wednesday night performances by regional jazz masters in an inspiring setting.
The first of this concert series features a New York-based trio led by Brian Charette, an organist/pianist
that has established himself as a leading voice in modern jazz. Originally from Meriden, CT, Charette is a Grammy-nominated, Hammond-endorsed performer who was named the winner of the 2014 Downbeat Critics Poll for the category of "Rising Star" on the organ. He has performed extensively throughout Europe and the United States since graduating with a B.A. in Music from University of Connecticut in 1994. Check out Charette's music on YouTube here!
The show begins at 6:30 p.m.; doors and a cash bar open at 5:45 p.m. Seating is limited; tickets must be purchased in advanced. Tickets will not be available at the door.
