Professional Development Programs for Educators

The NBMAA offers full day or half day teacher worshops for K-12 educators from varying disiplines.  Learn to use the visual arts to enrich an existing curriculum and make interdisciplinary connections from the language arts, social studies and even math.  Workshops may include docent-led tours, lectures, gallery-based exercises, and hands-on studio and writing activities all aimed to use the Museum's collection to promote creative and critical thinking skills.  Educators may register to themed workshops offered by the Museum throughout the year or districts may book their own workshop in advance by working closely with the education department.
