Fun for all ages!
Community Days are all-day events that celebrate special occasions and holidays with free admission, musical performances, art activities, film screenings and special exhibitions. These events include our annual Holiday party every December, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Black History Month in February, and the Museum’s birthday in April (the Museum will be 110 this year!). Activity schedules vary by event so please check below to see what will be offered at our next Community Day!

Community Day: Birthday Celebration
Sunday, April 7
noon-5 p.m.
Free Admission for All
Join us as we celebrate the Museum’s 110th birthday with free admission for all and festive activities throughout the afternoon. From 2-3 p.m., pantomime artist Robert Rivest will move and delight visitors of all ages with a workshop on the art of mime performance in the Stanley Works Center . Stop by the ArtLab to sign a giant birthday card to the NBMAA and decorate a party crown or wacky glasses to wear as you explore the galleries.
