The Museum is very fortunate to have more than 600 volunteers who support the Museum with their time and talent.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Each volunteer committee has different needs/requirements for its volunteers. After filling out an application, each new volunteer will be interviewed by the Manager of Visitor and Volunteer Services and attend one of the Museum's quarterly orientations before he/she can begin volunteering. Assignments can be for a single task or day, or they can be ongoing, depending on whatever works best for the volunteer and the committee chair. INTERNSHIPS

Orientation for each semester is mandatory for every intern. Summer 2009 orientation is Tuesday, June 2, 10:30 - noon. Fall 2009 orientation is Tuesday, September 8, 10:30 - noon.
