First Friday of the Month, 5:30-8 p.m.
Monthly jazz evenings with wine, beer, soda and hors d'oeuvres.

Museum After Dark M.A.D. Parties
For young professionals, age 21-35
Four quarterly Friday evenings, 8-11 p.m.

A great way to kick off the end of the week! Spearheaded by the NBMAA’s 20-something staff, M.A.D. Parties are a unique place to network with other young professionals while enjoying art, music and food and an open bar.

Juneteenth Celebration
2013

This annual celebration of the commemoration of the ending of slavery and the diverse community we enjoy features fine wine, food, music, exhibitions and multi-arts performances. Plan to wear your most colorful clothes. Don’t forget your dancing shoes. The place will be jumping. Proceeds support the NBMAA’s educational programming.

SPRING GALA - The ART Party of the Year

Come celebrate our 110-year anniversary at our 13th Annual Spring Gala. Join us for a wonderful evening of dining and dancing in the luminous setting of the Museum featuring Silent and Live Auctions. Help support acquisitions, operations, and education at the NBMAA. Mark your calendars!

The Art of Wine & Food
2013

The NBMAA’s marriage of fine art, fine food and fine wine features Connecticut’s top chefs and wine purveyors in twenty stations throughout the Museum and silent and live auctions with not-to-be-missed items. Proceeds support Museum operations.

NBMAA volunteers, 423 strong, are the lifeline to the successful programs and events hosted at the New Britain Museum of American Art. Our volunteers come from all over the state and serve not only as dedicated volunteers, but as ambassadors for our great Museum.

Brunch on the Park A Mother’s Day Celebration

Spend your Mother’s Day at the New Britain Museum of American Art with a special brunch, catered by Jordan Caterers. Hop on a docent-led Masterpiece Tour at 1 p.m. followed by our Sunday Music Series at 3 p.m.
