Sexy Shoes in the City
Ruthie Davis has donated a pair of her shoes as the center piece for a unique raffle prize to raise funds for the NBMAA. The winner will walk away with GRAFFITI, Mondrian pumps, size 9 and, with up to three friends enjoy a “Sexy Shoes in the City Day” in New York City. The day will begin with a limo ride to the city from a mutually agreed upon spot. You will meet Ruthie at her downtown design studio where she will share her creativity and design process and autograph the winner's shoes. This will be followed by a visit to her showroom in SoHo, not often seen by the public, containing not only Ruthie Davis® shoes but also jewelry, handbags and other accessories. From there, lunch in the Meatpacking District at the infamous Pastis restaurant, familiar to Carrie Bradshaw fans from "Sex and the City," followed by a walk through the new High Line Park, the much anticipated Lower West Side revamping of the freight lines over the city. Add whatever you'd like to add to your day and return to your starting spot in your limo. Raffle tickets are $20 each and will be available at the Museum’s Front Desk beginning March 25, 2010.
