Join us for the 13th annual Juneteenth party, celebrating “Black Music through the Ages.”
Co-chairs Soukeyna Diop and Alphonse Wright with their committee have planned an evening of open galleries, refreshments, the traditional Juneteenth Punch, tasty catered food from Jordan Caterers and music by United Audio Production.
Whether it is soul, jazz, or hip hop, pick an era and dress to impress. Of course, don’t forget your dancing shoes!
Special guest and honorary chair is Dr. Michael Sharpe, CEO, Jumoke Academy Schools and
Family Urban Schools of Excellence. Dr. Sharpe has dedicated his career to closing the achievement gap as well as advocating for schools that can meet all the diverse needs of students and families.
