Adult Studio Class | Watercolor with June Webster (January 7–March 24)
Explore the translucent medium of watercolor with artist June Webster!
Designed to give first-time artists a solid foundation and strengthen the skills of more experienced painters, this class will draw inspiration from the Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. Webster will guide students through a variety of painting techniques and styles and they will learn the elements of design, composition, value, and color.
Materials not included; all skill levels welcome. Instructor will provide full supply list on first day of class; bring one pad of Arches 140 lb. Cold Press paper, 9" x 12" or greater to first class. Preregistration required. Note: Classes will not occur during the month of February.
June Webster is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society. She has also earned memberships in the Connecticut Watercolor Society, the New England Watercolor Society and the North East Watercolor Society. Her paintings have won several major awards, including “Best in Show” at the Transparent Watercolor Society of America.
