ABOUT THE EVENT

Community Day | Celebrating Hispanic Heritage

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the NBMAA is celebrating the cultural influences of Hispanic Americans by showcasing artists, performers, and businesses from the surrounding area in a day of events for children and families.

A number of local hispanic artists will display and sell artwork in the Museum's Stanley Works Center, including Majesty Reyes, Maga Mok, Amanda Mendoza, and Rosemarie Ramirez. Visitors can also enjoy free bite-sized pastries and treats from Borinquen Bakery in the Museum Cafe; supply will be limited so stop by early in the day!

Hands-on art activities will also be available throughout the day in the Museum's Stanley Black and Decker Makerspace and Art & Book Nook.
