ABOUT THE EVENT
Memories of Miss O'Keeffe
On the fourth Thursday of every month, we invite visitors to sit back, relax, and enjoy an art-related film in the Stanley Works Center for Education and Community Development.
This month we present, Memories of Miss O’Keeffe, a short documentary by renowned filmmaker Chris Eyre (Smoke Signals, Skinwalkers).
A captivating story about enduring familial bonds, this documentary shares intimate reflections from members of the Lopez family, who worked for Georgia O’Keeffe during the artist’s later years in northern New Mexico.
Moviegoers will get an inside-look at the humanity behind an icon, the beauty of the American West, and the connections that withstand the passage of time.
