Homeschool Day | Storytelling in Art (CANCELED)

Throughout history, artists have used art as a way to share tales of personal experience, history, and fantasy. On this Homeschool Day, join our knowledgeable docents to uncover some of the stories hidden throughout the NBMAA's permanent collection.

Students will review the fundamentals of storytelling, including plot, setting, and characters. Then, they will bring their own narratives to life by creating books of their own in the American Savings Foundation Art and Education Center Studios.

Homeschool Day is geared towards children ages 5–12. Children under 5 are free of charge and welcome to remain with accompanying adults.

All students must be preregistered before April 14.
