ABOUT THE EVENT

Gallery Talk | Abstraction and Cohesion—Gretna Campbell, and David Kapp

Join us for a Gallery Talk focusing on the works of Gretna Campbell, and David Kapp, currently on display in For America: Paintings from the National Academy of Design. These contemporary artists engaged with painting everyday landscapes and objects partially through observation, as well as a lens of abstraction. During this talk, we will analyze the techniques used by each of these artists to construct dynamic paintings filled with light, color, and space.
