Adult Studio | Printmaking with Robert Charles Hudson

Join artist Robert Charles Hudson for a month-long Printmaking Class.

This program will be a tactile experience of printmaking. It will explore two printmaking techniques, which are mono print and free form style linocut. These techniques will be applied in ink using two types of printing paper, news print and rice paper, to create a positive image. The necessary tools required are a linocut carving tool, a linoleum block pad (size of your choice), and your own small personal hand roller.

Supplies Needed

• 2-3 Unmounted Linoleum Blocks (size of your choice)
• Newsprint Pad (size of your choice)
• Rice Paper Sheets (size of your choice)
• Acrylic Printing Paint (Black or Blue)
• Linoleum Engraving Tools (Speedball Linoleum Cutters)
• Small Rollers/ Brayers
