Sounds of the City Concert: The People of Goodwill Band—Music of the Afrikan Diaspora

Connect with friends and family while enjoying the live music on the Pritchard Family Terrace at the Sounds of the City Concert this summer!

The NBMAA is pleased to welcome the People of Goodwill Band, a group dedicated to a variety of music styles which have evolved as a result of the Afrikan Diaspora, including Jazz, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Rhythm & Blues, Latin, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban. The band takes a special pride in reflecting this unique blend of styles and cultures in both its music and its membership. They hope to communicate and share a positive message with all of humanity.
