Upcycling Art & Gardening Workshop with NB Roots

On Earth Day, the NBMAA is teaming up with New Britain ROOTS to promote awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment to local youth. In this workshop, an instructor from New Britain ROOTS will teach young participants the benefits of gardening and guide them to grow seedlings in an egg carton. Then, a Museum Educator will demonstrate how to turn recycled egg cartons into wacky garden critters. Registration and supplies are free. Supply kits are available for registrants to pick up at the Museum starting April 5.
