Walnut Hill Jazz Series | Jeff Fuller and Friends

This winter the NBMAA is pleased to host the third annual Walnut Hill Jazz Series; in partnership with the Hartford Jazz Society, we present a series of four jazz performances showcasing the best regional musicians from Hartford, Boston, New York City, and beyond.

The featured musician in this second installment of Walnut Hill Jazz is Jeff Fuller, a bassist fluent in Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music. He has toured worldwide and recorded with saxophonists Lou Donaldson and Paquito D’Rivera, and performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Mose Allison, “Papa” Jo Jones, Gerry Mulligan, and Clark Terry. Fuller also composes and arranges the music for the salsa group Irazú.

Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 6:30 p.m. Beer and wine bar available for purchase. Preregistration is recommended.
