About The Art Heist:

And in that collection is the coveted painting The Sailboat by William Metcalf. This painting is rumored to hide a clue to a hidden fortune. Help us discover who wants this painting and who will do anything to get their hands on it. This is an immersive mystery in which the guests are part of the story and will have a hand in solving the mystery. Be prepared to ask questions and to answer some too!

About Hole in the Wall Theater:

For over fifty years, Hole in the Wall Theater has been a pillar of the New Britain arts community. Since our debut production of Time of Your Life at the Hole in the Wall Bookstore in 1972, we have produced over 300 plays, involved hundreds of volunteers, and served thousands of patrons in the Greater New Britain area.

In these past five decades, Hole in the Wall Theater has prided itself in producing quality, cutting edge, and affordable art. We have always strived to be a place where local artists feel welcome to pursue their passions, and debuted many original works on our stage. While our organization has transformed over the years, our central philosophy remains the same - theater should be available to everyone, regardless of one’s ability to pay. We serve this mission by continuing to offer our patrons at least one Pay What You Can Night per production, where our audience may make a donation of any amount in lieu of paying a ticket price.

As you may be aware, Hole in the Wall Theater is an entirely volunteer-run, 501(c)3 organization. We are only able to continue to produce amazing art through the generous support of our community. Patron donations, corporate sponsorships, grants, and other sources of community funding are vital to our organization’s survival.

Please note: The historic Landers House has a limited amount of seating throughout its spaces. If you or someone in your party is uncomfortable standing for this event, please notify the Museum and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
