Hollywood Drawings

Warm up at the Museum this winter with Youth Drawing 101, where students aged 11–13 hone their skills and build new ones with Studio Educator Lindsay Behrens!

This month, participants will have the opportunity to imagine themselves as stars on the silver screen as they draw inspiration from the exhibition, Dennis Hopper: The Lost Album. Combining self-portraiture, imagination, and collage materials, students will depict themselves in their own starring role!

The class will feature a focus on drawing the human figure in various poses and developing an environment and narrative within the frame of their art.

Preregistration is required, and students must be registered by December 31.
