Program Details

The NBMAA offers full-day or half-day teacher workshops for K-12 educators from varying disciplines. Learn to use the visual arts to enrich your curriculum and make interdisciplinary connections with language arts, social studies, and even math. Workshops may include docent-led tours, lectures, gallery-based exercises, and hands-on studio and writing activities all aimed at using the Museum’s collection to promote creative and critical thinking skills. Educators may register for themed workshops offered by the Museum throughout the year or districts may book their own workshop in advance by working closely with the Education Department.
