Renée Green Bio

Renée Green is an artist, writer, and filmmaker whose work includes sculpture, architecture, photography, film, writing, and sound, among other art forms. Her work in this varied range of artistic media often converges in the creation of complex installations that highlight topics related to cultural and social history. Since 2011, Green has been a Professor in the Art, Culture, and Technology program at MIT. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at numerous institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House, Los Angeles; Lumiar Cité, Lisbon; Galerie Nagel Draxler, Berlin; Bortolami Gallery, New York; Fondazione Antonio Ratti, Como, Italy; Prefix Institute for Contemporary Art, Toronto, and the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.
