Scout Programs
Scout Days at the NBMAA
The New Britain Museum of American Art hosts quarterly Scout Days with activities directly related to badge requirements for scouts of various ages and levels. Troops can book on a first-come, first-served basis for a maximum of 20 children. This two-hour long program is $15 per child; chaperones are free. (We recommend a 1 to 5 adult to child ratio.) Includes Museum admission; feel free to explore our other galleries and our drop-in ArtLab after your program concludes!

Just need a tour?
If your troop has already completed the art-making portion of your badge requirement, there are a few different options available! You can schedule a docent-led tour during our regular hours (last tour launch at 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and no guided tours on Saturdays) or visit self-guided anytime during open hours. We are free Saturday mornings from 10–noon.
