Film: An American in Paris
On the fourth Thursday of the month, we invite visitors to relax and experience a journey abroad with Vincente Minelli's An American in Paris, screening in the Stanley Works Center for Education and Community Development. Starring Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron, the film follows the story of American ex-GI Jerry Mulligan (Kelly), a struggling painter, as he pursues his dreams in post-war Paris. Things become complicated, and a love triangle follows as Jerry and his best friend fall for the same woman.
