Spring Flowers

This time Homeschool students will look at the bounty of botanical beauties in the Museum's permanent collection and also in the special exhibition The Beyond: Georgia O'Keeffe and Contemporary Art. They will look closely at how artists used color, line, form and texture to depict flowers in representational and abstract works.

Then, in the American Savings Foundation Art & Education Center, Hannah Kruger will guide participants in creating their own floral works using paints and pastels in whatever style speaks to them.
