Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the Museum and get a behind-the-scenes look at The Beyond: Georgia O’Keeffe and Contemporary Art with co-curators Chad Alligood and Lauren Haynes.

Together, they will present an in-depth examination of the contemporary artists included in the exhibition and their connections to O’Keeffe. They will also discuss the themes explored in the exhibition: Flowers, Finding the Figure, The Intangible Thing, Still Lifes, Cities and Deserts, and the Beyond.

Join us and learn about the lasting impact of Georgia O’Keeffe on contemporary art.

The lecture will run from 2-3 p.m. in the Stanley Works Center for Education and Community Development and will be followed by coffee and tea with the curators from 3-3:30 p.m.
